Getting Your Business Involved

Already, more than 1,000+ employers throughout the St. Louis region are members of the St. Louis Regional Clean Air Partnership, doing what they can to help inform their employees about our region’s air quality and encouraging them to take the steps necessary to reduce emissions. Depending on their level of interest, some companies simply serve as a distribution point to share air quality information and tips with their employees, others promote ridesharing and transit alternatives, and a select group have made improving our air quality one of their top priorities and take steps to reduce emissions in every aspect of their business.

The Partnership is actively seeking new members, and can work with any size employer, in any industry in the St. Louis region.

What's in it for you?

Keeping St. Louis' air clean is in your best interests. When we stay within the federal health standard for ozone, we avoid costly mandates on businesses and industry that might discourage them from locating here. Your participation can help to ensure that St. Louis remains a great place to do business, and a healthy place to live. When you join the St. Louis Regional Clean Air Partnership, you'll also:

  • Enjoy the benefits of being spotlighted in The Partnership's media relations campaign as a new member.
  • Enhance your positioning among employees, customers and the general public as a good steward of our environment.
  • Improve public health and the quality of life for thousands of area residents who suffer from asthma and other lung ailments and find it difficult to breathe when our air quality is poor.
  • Increase employee morale.
  • Enhance your employee benefits package by tapping the free benefits available from other Partnership members, including RideFinders and Citizens for Modern Transit.
